Today's finds in photos #2 - Wisley

Went to Wisley (very near Wisley airfiled where I did geocaching 2 days ago) and did 5 caches. We went at about 7.30pm so we couldn't do many!

Hopefully we can come back and finish the loop sometime soon! We did some fun cache and dashes and I played with a really cute cat for about 10 minutes!

Today's finds in photos

Yesterday I went to Wisley Airfield with dad, and did some geocaching while he looked at the old runway (he's a fan of planes).

Found nine geocaches, and took a photo of each cache I found with Rory, the geocaching bear- so I decided to upload them and do a "today's finds in photos".

 A Bolt with A3 Views

The next photos are most definitely spoilers, so the list of caches I did is above, and if you are planning on doing these caches then don't look at the pictures! I don't want to ruin the game for anyone. Found it

The photos below are in the order I found them (and the order of the list above) from left to right, then next row down, left to right again (if that makes sense).

I loved the A Bolt with A3 Views geocache, just look at the cache container! It's a magnetic bolt and I think it's really cool- it took 10 minutes or so to find- I wasn't expecting it to look so realistic! I haven't seen a cache like that before

Discovering my MK6 T&J Bear!

Today we went out for about an hour collecting different caches that weren't part of a series. I found 4 caches: Sailor KingPitched Wiggly WobblyAquacadabra! and Pitch Mill.

I had a really good time and discovered a MK6 T&J Bear in our last cache, Pitch Mill, which was really exciting! I haven't heard of these geocache bears before, but I looked on their website, and discovered that there are many batches of bears that have been put into geocaches all over the country. They left my little bear wrapped up in a plastic bag, with a little note saying 'please handle with care'.

People collect and discover different batches of these bears, which I think is such a cool idea! It's their 'signature item' that they leave with them when they go geocaching :)

I found the second to last batch, MK6. I haven't decided what to name him yet.. Maybe Cory? If you have any name suggestions please comment!

I want to get a trackable and attach it to my little bear, and keep it as my personal trackable to take to all the geocaches I visit.

Apparently the new bears, MK11, were released on the 17th June- though it doesn't say which year, so I don't know if that is today, or wheter it was last year or even years ago!
Still, I reccommend having a look in the larger caches near you and see if you can discover your very own T&J Geocaching Bear.
